The holidays are upon us, and I’m sure we’re all in a frenzy to scour gift guides and pick up presents for everyone. I’m guilty of this too! Every year, we’re so preoccupied with what to get others, running through lists for the mother/ father/ techie/ beauty junkie in your life. In the midst of it all, it becomes easy to neglect our own desires.
Well this year, I’m sharing with you all my personal wish list (of which some have been happily fulfilled already, yay!) of indulgences and timeless classics that will also make the perfect gift for any loved ones in your life. Take a moment to dream, think about how to treat yourself after working hard to ensure others have the perfect holiday season, and be inspired by this luxurious gift guide!
1. Kelly Wearstler | Bronze Saints Hand
When it comes to luxurious home decor, Kelly Wearstler’s designs are a must. This bronze hand figure adds an elegant and soulful touch to any room.
2. Hermès | Heure H PM Watch
Who can resist anything from Hermès? The Heure H style is timeless in style and popularity. I adore my current silver watch face but am lusting over the gold version as well!
3. Van Cleef & Arpels | Vintage Alhambra Pendant
VCA, a French fine jeweler of legendary status, creates the most exquisite pieces. Their iconic Alhambra collection, best recognized for their clover motif, is the dream jewelry line for the glamorous minimalist in your life. I’d love to start my collection with the single pendant necklace.
4. Smith & Cult | Deluxe Holiday Nail Collection
When it comes to nail polish, Smith & Cult is the next level. With consistently long lasting staying power and the most chic bottle on the market, their polishes can’t be beat. The Deluxe Holiday Set doesn’t disappoint with a rich array of winter-appropriate hues and sparkly lacquers to mix and match for gorgeous nail designs. My favorite shades are Darjeeling Darling, a deep emerald color, and Dark Like Me, an alluring shade of aubergine.
5. Gucci | Marmont Metallic Loafers
The name on the tip of everyone’s tongue nowadays – Gucci. Their slides and Marmont loafers have been insanely popular, but dare to stand out with this gold sparkly take on the classics. They’re shoes you’ll want to dance the night away in!
6. Anya Hindmarch | Ghost Shearling Key Chain
Distract yourself from the holiday stress with Anya Hindmarch’s adorable pixel characters. Covered in a rich burgundy shearling, this keychain is a such an easy way to add a little fun to any bag.
7. Iluminage | Deluxe Relaxation Set
Don’t forget to take care of yourself during the holidays with Iluminage’s Deluxe Relaxation set. The silk eye mask is pillowy soft and perfect for covering your delicate eye area. It also helps my eye cream soak in better and prevents dehydration in such a sensitive part of your face overnight. The socks are actually padded and so comfy you’ll forget you’re wearing them. Meanwhile the gloves will take care of any pesky sun spots and also prevent dryness. All three items use textiles patented with copper technology to promote anti aging, and while results do take time to see (4-8 weeks) it absolutely works (personally tried and true).
8. Michael Anastassiades | Copycat Lamp
I was smitten when I first saw this Greek designer’s elegant and minimal lamps. Orbs of light suspended with barely there brass structures inspire a sense of wonder and calm. Less is more when it comes to his designs, and this Copycat lamp is not only functional, but also a marvel to gaze upon.
9. Cire Trudon | Abd El Kader Classic Candle
When it comes to candles, the gold standard is Cire Trudon. Candles from this oldest-known wax-producer (founded in 1643!) burn cleaner than any other brand, and their fragrances are intricate and intoxicating. My favorite scents? Abd El Kader, a classic, and Gabriel – although you can’t go wrong with any of them.
10. Dior | Lady Dior Bag in Gris
For the classiest woman in your life (or yourself, nobody’s judging!), what better bag is there than the Lady Dior bag? While it comes in many colors, my favorite is the muted gray leather. A versatile and elegant shade of gray, the Lady Dior in Gris is the perfect pairing to any casual or dressed up look alike.
11. SkinCeuticals | Gold Standard Kit for Skin Discoloration
One of my favorite brands as of late is SkinCeuticals, because the products always deliver on their promises, which is rare nowadays. The Gold Standard Kit, consisting of the Phloretin CF and Hydrating B5 gel, is designed to combat skin discoloration. Not only do the two products provide an even, overall glow, but they are AMAZING at hydrating your skin as well. My skin has been so dry as of late, but the combination of these two products completely rejuvenated my dull skin within just two uses. It absorbs seamlessly and looks flawless under makeup as well. You can’t go wrong with this one!
12. Alaïa | Arabesque Laser-Cut Waist Belt
Do you remember that scene in ‘Clueless’ when Cher says, “You don’t understand, this is Alaïa!!” as she protests the robber’s demand for her to get down on the ground? Well, once you see one of his dresses in person, you would probably say the same. A designer only fashion insiders might be familiar with, Azzedine Alaïa is a master of laser cut designs and the most structurally impressive silhouettes. If his clothing or bags are a bit out of reach budget-wise, this waist-cinching belt is the perfect thing to whet your appetite as you fall in love with the world of Alaïa.
13. RabLabs | Kivita Coasters (2)
One easy way to introduce sophistication into your coffee table set up is incorporating agate coasters. Because every agate piece is different and it’s a material often underutilized other than as ornamental pieces, these coasters are an unexpected and unique addition to any setting. The white ones featured above also have gold gilded edges for an extra dose of glam!
14. Monica Vinader | Riva Diamond Hoop Ring
I love Monica Vinader jewelry because every piece, no matter how dainty, feels so luxurious. Even opening the box is an experience! The Riva Diamond Hoop Ring in particular is a beautiful minimalist yet also statement making ring. A testament that some of the best things come in small packages!
15. Maison Michel | Blanche Wide-brim Hat
Did you know that a hat maker is also called a milliner? La Maison Michel has led the fashion world when it comes to millinery since 1936, and the brand’s philosophy of merging heritage with modernity has resulted in timeless hats of the utmost highest quality and craftsmanship. When you feel and hold a Maison Michel hat, you will instantly know the difference.
16. Army by Yves Salomon | Fur-Lined Cotton-Blend Parka
This too is another brand that hails from France. I’ll admit- I do have a small obsession with French brands. But who can blame me? The French definitely know their stuff. Yves Solomon is a prestigious fur house with an extensive collection of opulent fluffy vests, accessories and outerwear. For those who opt for more casual silhouettes, the brand’s Army parkas have been a hit since their debut in 2010. Iterations with different types of fabrics and furs linings are available, but my favorite remains the olive-colored parka with fox fur hood and lining. Short of a full-on fur coat, this is the fluffiest piece of heaven to wrap yourself up in during the winter.
At the end of the day, don’t forget to treat yourself! While picking up all those gifts for your loved ones, slip something special into your cart because you deserve it too. At the very least, e-mail this list to your significant other or loved ones so they can show you some love back as well (I hope you’re reading this too hubby ?!)
Have you picked up any of the items on this list? Is there something you’re particularly wishing for on this list or otherwise? I’d love to hear in the comments. Thanks for reading and hope you enjoyed!
