During the winter, I only have two styles: layered marshmallow or layered chic. Either way, I like to dress pragmatically for the weather. There’s no point exposing bare legs and risking pneumonia in 30 degree weather. When I do dress in the former of the two styles, you’ll find me bundled up in the most intense parkas. But to be real, that’s not all that attractive to see on a fashion blog (although you may catch a peek of it on my IG feed!), so for events and festivities, I’ll opt for a layered chic look instead. Even then however, it’s hard to craft an outfit that will look elegant and stand out. This is where jewelry comes in.
No matter how layered or dark an outfit, great jewelry can instantly elevate any look. Some of my go-to pieces as of late are a variety of stunning rose gold Bronzallure rings, bracelets, and earrings. Created with 18KT Rosé gold, hand-selected natural gemstones and Italian craftsmanship, each item adds a glamorous finish to your look no matter how dressed up or down. For those who have never heard of Bronzallure, don’t worry, I’ll be the first to admit the same. But after learning about the brand, I deduced that I must have been living under a rock somewhere as Bronzallure is actually available in 43 countries worldwide with over 2,000 points of sale. Clearly I’ve been missing out.
Born in Milan, Italy, one of the world’s premier fashion capitals, it’s no wonder the brand has such impeccable designs. They range from the delicate, like the pave and rose gold knotted rings from the Alba collection that I styled on my left hand, to the beautiful statement pieces like the cocktail ring from the Altissima collection on the right index finger. The drop-sphere earrings are elegant and discrete but catch the light beautifully to strike that perfect balance of refined yet glamorous. Finally, no outfit would be complete without some arm candy like the versatile Romanze cuff bangle with the subtle CZ bands and sphere designs or the snake pave bangle for an extra dose of sparkle (both bangles are from the Altissima collection, as are the earrings).
What I love most about these Bronzallure pieces is their versatility. Despite the craftsmanship, they all feel weightless and incredibly easy and comfortable to wear. And not to mention, the perfect day to night pieces as well. Even the most glamorous of them blend seamlessly with my winter day look, although I must admit, all of that romantic rose gold did inspire an extra dose of winter chic when putting together this ensemble. What better way to complement such beautiful jewelry than the rich tweed of this structured jacket and a glamorous black coat with a sumptuous fox fur collar? My blouse is a crisp white button down from a fabulous NYC brand called Petite Studio NYC, an essential brand for those with smaller frames such as myself, and it was the perfect top to balance out all of the darker colors and complement the red and white piping on the jacket. Finally, I made sure to add some height and elongate the silhouette by adding high-heeled over-the-knee boots and topped things off with a sleek felt boater hat and a smaller bag. It’s all about that balance! 🙂
Which piece was your favorite? How would you style it yourself? I’d love to hear in the comments!
